Paraffin wax is a white and crystalline solid produced by refining and de-oiling the wax with the help of hydro-generation refining equipments. It is composed principally of normal paraffin and is a mixture of hydrocarbon with a molecular weight of 300 to 500.
Microcrystalline Wax is a high melting wax and is produced by refining the vacuum distillation residue oil or the lubricating oil residue present in the crude oil. It is principally composed of iso-paraffin and cyclo-paraffin and is a mixture of hydrocarbon with a molecular weight of 500 to 700.
